At 2:30 in the morning we woke up and started at 3:30 in the darkness our
descend to camp 1. We wanted to avoid a "traffic jam" on our fixed ropes. By
5:30 we reached camp 1, repacked our backpacks and descended further to
basecamp. Klaus and Thomas used their skis and reached BC by 8:00. The rest
of the group arrived by foot at 10:30.
Two huge pizzas and a bottle of champagne were waiting for us. Thomas
Geister`s birthday present from the crew !
